Warranty T&Cs

GENERAL WARRANTY


We warrant that our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for the following periods from the date of purchase:

8 years to PlumbAir Top Bull Wall & Roof Brackets
5 years to PE & Fire Rated Copper Pair Coils
1 year to all other products unless otherwise specified

This warranty applies to products supplied by PlumbAir Pty Ltd (“PlumbAir”) and is valid only to the authorised distributors and end users.

Australian Consumer Law

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
If a major failure occurs, you are entitled to a replacement or refund and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For non-major issues, you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.

However, this warranty does not cover any consequential or indirect loss, including (but not limited to) business interruption, loss of income, profit, or wages resulting from product failure or replacement delays.

This warranty is provided by PlumbAir Pty Ltd (“PlumbAir”) for PlumbAir-branded products supplied to authorised distributors and end users. 

PLUMBAIR WALL & ROOF BRACKET

PRODUCT REPLACEMENT WARRANTY – 8 YEARS

PlumbAir warrants that all PlumbAir condenser brackets (including those manufactured under the Top Bull range) are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal installation and operating conditions for a period of eight (8) years from the date of purchase by the end user.

This warranty covers:
• Replacement of any defective product found to have a manufacturing fault during the warranty period.

To be eligible for a warranty claim, the faulty product (complete with all parts and accessories) must be returned to PlumbAir with a valid proof of purchase.
All claims must be supported by photographs of the defective item and submitted to orders@plumbair.com.au

or by contacting 0468 858 172 to obtain a Return Authorisation request prior to return.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

This warranty may be voided if:
• The product has sustained physical damage.
• The product was installed by an unqualified or unauthorised person.
• The product has been subjected to excessive force, misuse, or repetitive strain (e.g. standing or applying weight on the bracket).
• The product has been dismantled, altered, cut, or deformed in any way.
• The product has been painted, marked, contaminated, or soiled as a result of installation or improper handling.

• The product has been exposed to extreme weather conditions or corrosive environments without appropriate protection.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover the following:
• Damage to other equipment or property resulting from the use or failure of the product.
• Shipping, freight, or handling costs associated with returning goods for inspection or replacement, where applicable.
• Loss of income, revenue, or business arising from operational downtime or product failure.
• Corrosion, rust, or deterioration of non-critical components or accessories (such as nuts, bolts, and washers).
• Labour or costs incurred in the removal or reinstallation of permanently installed products.
• Compatibility issues or failures resulting from integration with other systems, components, or equipment.
• Damage caused by environmental exposure, including salt air, moisture, humidity, or corrosive substances.

• Tampering, sabotage, wilful misconduct, or intentional damage caused by misuse or negligence.

WARRANTY CLAIM SUBMISSION PROCESS

When submitting a Warranty Claim, please ensure the following information is provided:
• Clear photographs showing the affected product and its installation site.
• Proof of purchase, such as an invoice or delivery docket.
• Detailed description of the reported fault and the installation environment.
• Return Authorisation (RA) number issued by PlumbAir prior to returning any goods.

Claims must be lodged within 30 days of identifying the defect.
PlumbAir will assess all valid claims and aims to provide a written response within 30 days of receiving full documentation and, if required, the returned product.

The rights and remedies provided under this warranty are in addition to those available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

This warranty applies exclusively to genuine PlumbAir Wall & Roof Brackets supplied by PlumbAir Pty Ltd.

PLUMBAIR COPPER PAIR COIL

5-YEAR WARRANTY – PARTS ONLY (Copper Pair Coil Product)

PlumbAir warrants that all PlumbAir Pair Coil products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal installation and operating conditions for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers:
• Replacement of any defective product found to have a manufacturing fault.

Defective pair coil samples must be returned to PlumbAir for inspection and assessment in accordance with the warranty claim process outlined below before any replacement is issued.

This warranty is void in cases where damage or failure results from misuse, misapplication, negligence, improper or non-compliant installation, transportation or handling damage, power fluctuations, unauthorised modifications or repairs, or exposure to corrosive or abnormal environmental conditions, as well as cases where no manufacturing fault is verified. 


WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover the following:
• Labour, freight, or installation costs associated with removing or replacing the product.
• Expenses incurred for the use of specialised access equipment (such as elevated work platforms, scaffolding,, or lifting machinery) required to carry out the replacement.
• Repairs to building materials (e.g. plasterboard, paint, cladding, or finishes) disturbed during replacement.
• Damage resulting from installation practices that do not comply with relevant Australian Standards (including AS/NZS 1571), the National Construction Code, or applicable ARCtick licensing requirements.
• Normal wear and tear, or deterioration due to environmental or chemical exposure.

• Intentional damage, misuse, or sabotage by any party after delivery of the goods.

WARRANTY CLAIM SUBMISSION PROCESS

When submitting a warranty claim, please provide the following to PlumbAir Pty Ltd:
• Clear photographs showing the aƯected product and its installation site
• Leak-test video or report demonstrating the nature of the defect
• 100 cm sample of the failed pair coil, showing the label on the insulation
• Proof of purchase (invoice or delivery docket)

Claims must be lodged within 30 days of the defect being identified.
PlumbAir will assess all valid claims and aims to provide a written response within 30 days of receiving complete documentation and the required product sample.
